So we just wanted to end the year by saying: thank you! Just last night the news lead with the story of another campaign victory - reform of our anti-terror laws and agencies including the complete removal of unjust sedition laws. From outlining your vision for the new Parliament and adorning its lawn with candles for the Apology at the start of the year, to finally winning rights for same-s-x couples and broadcasting a headline-grabbing climate TV ad to end it, 2008 has been full of victories for progressive Australians. And 2009? We know that governments, however well-intentioned, will only soar as high as you and I demand.
