"I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built upon the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think. Whereas, if the child is left to himself, he will think more and better, if less showily. Let him go and come freely, let him touch real things and combine his impressions for himself, instead of sitting indoors at a little round table, while a sweet-voiced teacher suggests that he build a stone wall with his wooden blocks, or make a rainbow out of strips of colored paper, or plant straw trees in bead flower-pots. Such teaching fills the mind with artificial associations that must be got rid of, before the child can develop independent ideas out of actual experience."

A true health science will teach man how to use both himself and his environment constructively - healthfully.

Dr. Herbert Shelton (1895–1985), American Health Educator, Author

The objective of my action research is to understand the Nature's Intelligence as the highest harmonizing and healing force, and to use such knowledge for holistic mind, body and soul healing, that reconnects the patient with his/her authentic or Pristine Self, and heals human relationships with each other and with the environment.

That way we can individually live our commitments to personal, collective and global sustainability.

I am primarily interested in spontaneous healing and natural self-healing. They take place only in real life, so I kept learning about them experientially.

By observing natural healing process, I found out how everything (positive and negative, normal and abnormal, pleasant and unpleasant, rational and irrational) in my and my patients' experience could be used for the better, or for healing.

While having had that objective all my life, only 'reading' accurately all relevant energy partterns allowed me to understand how to achieve that.

From approaching life that way, I do think that everything in life comes up for healing, and that sickness is due mainly to the lack of understanding and/or of putting into practice that principle.

    1. My Self Healing and Pristine Self

Let me be a free man. Free to travel. Free to stop. Free to work.  Free to choose my own teachers. Free to follow the religion of my fathers. Free to think and talk and act for myself.

Chief Joseph from Nez Perce Tribe

My interest in physical self healing steams from my personal history. Between 1975 and 1986 I have healed myself intuitively, by purely natural means, from several serious ailments that were not helped by medical treatment.

During my midlife crisis in 1986 I realized that there was something big amiss in my  whole orientation system, not only in my body. It appeared that I have made some wrong choices in life.

To heal from doing that in the future, I wanted to recover my inherent natural Knowing, that I had as a child. Then I knew accurately what I was faced with and how to make appropriate choices. Such Knowing was the essence of my authentic or Pristine Self. I wanted to recover it in order to resolve my midlife crisis and move on.

My natural Knowing was a congruent mental, emotional, sensory and intuitive Intelligence, experienced at once by my whole Being. It was much more wholesome and therefore appropriate than my mental intelligence on its own.

In my search for self-healing I discovered accidentally that I had a natural healing gift – the ability to sense clearly, understand or ‘read’ and heal the human energy field, or body-mind blueprint, so as to bring about the inter-related physical and psychological healing changes. (See about it my article Awakening.)

In retrospect I realized that I would have had that ability all along as a crucial aspect of my Pristine Self. I had lost touch with it since I went to school and had to accept the mainstream Western reductionist scientific paradigm , which did not provide space for self-referencing on the basis of one's natural Knowing.

Since 1986, when I have reconnected with my Pristine Self and recovered my Natural Knowing, my health and life kept changing for the better.

    2. My New Career and Action Research

It's amazing what ordinary people can do if they set out without preconceived notions.

Charles F. Kettering, 1876-1958, American Engineer and Inventor

Since 1986 I have focused on action researching the energy healing, by self-healing and with patients who appeared before I even intended to become a healer. Because I could help their conditions that did not respond to other, medical and/or alternative treatment, my practice grew of its own volition.

That enabled me to explore my healing gift as a participant observer with my patients. I am most grateful to all those who have entrusted their healing to our co-learning relationship.

In 1997 I became a qualified natural therapist,  yet continued my action research of energy reading and healing. It allows me direct access to one's subconscious memory and root system of any condition, as well as to psychic and spiritual energy patterns, which makes it the most direct and effective modality that I can use in holistic healing.

    3. My Action Research Characteristics

Broken truth hurts, like drinking drom a broken glass. It appears helpful to some, but is painful to all.

Lliving the Whole Truth, including its Unknown portion, is much more than helpful - it brings the Spirit of Truly Healing to all concerned.

Tiyana Maksimovich-Binno, Natural Healer and Therapist

There are few basic points in common between my findings and scientific research ones:

    • Universal energy exists and has a mutually causal relationships with material aspect of the world.
    • It is possible to act mentally and emotionally at energy level and influence at distance the outcomes in other people's minds and feelings in the material world.

Other characteristics of my approach differ significantly from the scientific ones.

    3. 1. Holistic and Ethical Experiential Framework

There are periods when... to dare, is the highest wisdom.

William Ellery Channing (1780-1842), American Poet, Abolitionist, Unitarian Preacher (including of Human Likeness to God),

Even though I was a skeptic, only a few minutes of real life experience taught me beyond any doubt that energy field exists and can influence a person at some distance in either healing or dis-easing way. That shifted my paradigm in a deeply healing manner and led to my  research of the precise in-formation content and quality of the energy patterns and of their dynamics in holistic healing, since it is the most relevant to healing life in its entirety - for the true quality of human life and for sustainabilty.

Holistic healing as framework makes my energy researchethical, empowering and holistic:

    • Being based on self-and-other-referencing, my healing action research is  a living model of 'power with', the ethical and philosophical basis of peaceful cooperation and sustanability.
    • The healer's and healee's subjective observations are complementary and are used cooperatively to form the complete, objective picture, which is empowering and healing to all concerned.
    •
    • The findings are applicable to healing every and any aspect of human and other life.
    • Principles are distilled from practice and govern it in return, forming one single feedback-feedforward loop.

    3.2. Method and Responsibility

We come nearest to the great when we are great in humility.

Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1961), Indian Mystic, Author, Nobel Prize

Because I am a participant researcher, I am exposed to all the energy patterns that I work with and am experiencing the consequences of dealing with them in either healing or dis-easing manner. Because I am responsible for my own wellbeing, that guarantes the healing and ethical use of my knowledge, which contributes to sustainability.

Exploring healing as ethically as I could, I never experimented with other people, only with myself. I have found out some interesting healing paths.

Only after having checked them many times in my own case did I use them with my patients, which has been proven to be safe and effective.

    3.3. Means, Time and Place

There are no special means required for my action research, other than being oneself, noticing one's thoughts, sensations and/or emotions, and communicating openly with other participant(s).

Therefore this type of research can be and is carried out any time anywhere, in relation to or with anything or anyone.

I did not ask nor receive any funding. My action research is part of my own and my clients' normal life.

    3.4. Patients

Most of my patients have been twenty to sixty years old, but I have also seen babies, children, teenagers and septagenarians.

In my patient sample there were approximately two thirds women and one third men. Women were mainly interested in relationships, psycho-somatic, energy and spiritual healing. Men usually opt for physical, energy and some for spiritual healing.

Instead of specializing in any particular condition, I treat all kind of ailments and problems. It is possible because I heal them amongst other at blueprint energy level.

    3.5. Epistemological Criteria and Life

We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.

    Anais Nin (1903-1977), Cuban-French Author

The Western mainstream has for awhile been dominated by hard scientific reductionist epistemology as supposedly the most reliable one because it is based on criteria of rigor and 'objectivity'. From such hard scientific point of view unique real life examples are only the ‘subjective anecdotal evidence’, that cannot be relied upon.

What does it mean in terms of survival and quality of life? In an ABC TV show few years ago, a man who used to have cancer and was ‘given’ only few months to live by his medical doctors, yet who had embraced complementary therapies and lifestyle changes, so that he was free from cancer for several years, was told by an MD, “Your case is only an anecdotal evidence!” The cancer survivor answered, “I prefer to be an alive anecdotal evidence than dead statistics.”

Similarly, in 1975 (when there was no IVF) I preferred to have children instead of accepting my medical doctors’ pronouncement that I was ‘terminally’ infertile (due to a severe ovarian infection, unresponsive to antibiotics, and supposedly resulting in extensive scarring).

I healed myself by following my body sensations and plain common sense instead of believing that I should add to the statistics about women who staid infertile due to a condition like mine.

Since my excruciatingly painful body was craving strong dry heat, which was the only thing that would give me relief, I sun baked daily for about an hour. In two weeks I was pain free and according to medical check up there was no trace of infection. To my doctors disbelief I happily became immediately pregnant, which according to them meant that my body would have resolved the scaring too. I had the healthy, easy pregnancy, gave birth to a beautiful baby, and never had any problems related to my reproductive system again.

From a scientific point of view, my two healthy children (now adults), could be considered only an anecdotal evidence about the importance of relaying on one’s subjective thinking, sensory experience, sun’s healing energy and the power of the simple, straightforward but very strong will to self-heal.

I consider my children's living presence in this world to be an objective and most significant confirmation of the high relevance of honoring one's subjective experience within the holistic, Living Epistemology, especially when the supposedly objective science fails to heal a serious condition.

The quality of our life is not defined only by being medically or objectively found healthy or sick, but depends very much on one's subjective experience of feeling, thinking and behaving either healthy or sick, and on taking personal responsibility for one's choices about managing ourselves pertinently.

An interesting example of an unusual subjective choice related to an objective condition, so as to provide a good quality of one's life, is a middle aged man (whom I have interviewed), who has been diagnosed with typically very aggressive pancreatic cancer in 2005.

He has been ‘given’ only up to six months to live – and yet is still alive and normally functional without any pain or medication. Because he firmly believes that ‘everything is in the mind’, he has chosen to discontinue the chemotherapy after only two weeks, when he had the idea to make a ‘contract’ with his cancer, “I wouldn’t bother you, and you don’t bother me!” His cancer has been medically tested and found stable since then.

I am interested in unique examples because they can open one's mind to the possibilities that may be lost in statistics about 'objectively' proved data. This particular case illustrates the power of the determined mind over cancer. Not everyone has such a strong and effective mind, but I believe that we can strengthen our mind by healing ourselves holistically, including tidying up our inadequate beliefs. Then we can enhance our self-healing ability and be able to contribute in our own way to global healing.

    3.6. Living Epistemology

I have been developing the holistically healing Living Epistemology through my action research. While observing carefully every step of my own and my patients’ process, I compare and complement my experience with theirs. That allows us to form the wholesome healing picture of our individual and common reality.

When true healing with lasting results takes place in both of us, it indicates that we have grasped the truth. By contrast, the erroneous assumptions or beliefs can mask the symptoms or displace them, but always sustain the problem.

Based on my observation and feedback from an overwhelming majority of my patients, it appears that Living Epistemology in itself induces the spontaneous healing in both the patient and the healer. It increases clarity of our mind, provides us with peace of heart, healthy physical body and spark in the spirit, and enables us to live wisely and responsibly.

3.7. Complementary Approach to Dis-easing and Healing

I am dominantly exploring the healing processes that have up until relatively recently been rather neglected in the mainstream Western culture: the energy blueprint healing and re-patterning, and the psycho-somatic, socio-ecological, psychic, spiritual and past lives healing.
